We had a great turn out for our All-Volunteer Meeting this afternoon. I hope you were able to be there! We have a lot of work ahead, but I know I am feeling so energized by all of the folks across the state of Washington who are rallying behind the need to update the Growth Management Act to address climate, housing affordability, and environmental justice this year. Whether or not you were able to join us today, below you will find links to slides from the meeting and other resources and opportunities to get involved in the campaign. Thank you for your interest in being part of the movement to pass comprehensive environmental and justice-oriented legislation in 2021. As I said in our meeting today, our work is far from over. As we look ahead to the 2021 legislative session, we know this is only the beginning of what will need to be a concentrated effort to keep the GMA at the top of our legislators' priority lists. We will need all hands on deck these next few months, but I know that together we can build a better world. Join our Washington Can't Wait email list to stay up to date on campaign events and calls to action.

Additionally, we would like to ask you to mark your calendars! While we've had to change a lot of plans this year, we're still looking forward to gathering our community for a final celebration of our first three decades. Join us on Tuesday, December 15th for Futurewise’s 30th birthday party. Whether you helped draft the Growth Management Act in 1990 or just joined the Washington Can’t Wait campaign in 2020, we'd love to party (virtually) with you. Wear your best party hat and bring a beverage for a toast to Futurewise and to our next 30 years!
