Everyone deserves a safe, healthy, and affordable place to call home, in every corner of our state. This future is within our grasp. Together we can:

Mitigate the effects of climate change with the Growth Management Act (HB1181)
Increase housing options with Missing Middle Housing (HB1110)
Connect people and communities with Transit-Oriented Development (SB5466)

Legislators will have only until April 12 to vote on these bills. HB1181 and HB1110 have already passed the Senate floor, but we're still pushing for SB5466. SB5466, along with HB 1181 and HB1110, offers a comprehensive approach for a vibrant, affordable, resilient future for all Washingtonians. Washington is a great and welcoming place to live. We have some of the best and most diverse cities on the planet. Our unique natural landscapes and world-class agriculture industry are unparalleled. That’s why we’re one the fastest growing states in the country. Everyone deserves a safe, healthy, and affordable place to call home, in every corner of our state. This future is within our grasp. Together we can: - Increase housing options with Missing Middle Housing (HB1110) - Mitigate the effects of climate change with the Growth Management Act (HB1181) - Connect people and communities with Transit-Oriented Development (SB5466) SB5466, while it does need amendments around affordability, works to make it easier for people to get to work, school, hospitals, and more. SB5466 will increase housing capacity around frequent transit stations and areas. SB5466 will address both the housing shortage and our climate crisis by encouraging more use of public transit.
