HB 1110, our bill to legalize middle housing across Washington, is in front of the House Appropriations Committee. We need a YES vote in this committee by Friday, 2/24 to keep this bill moving!

The root cause of Washington's housing affordability crisis is a shortage of homes. In the next 20 years, Washington state needs 1 million more homes. HB 1110 helps address the housing crisis by allowing more types of homes in more places. HB 1110 will allow homes like duplexes, four-plexes and six-plexes in more neighborhoods, depending on the size of the city.

Right now, working class people are priced out of housing markets across Washington state. HB 1110 will add housing choices to our neighborhoods that regular people can afford, and increases our housing supply without changing the fundamental character of our neighborhoods.
